edition gxggxxg #10: personal audio letter

edition gxggxxg is a mail art project in which artists are invited to fill an envelope and a mini-cdr with life in a collaborative way. all the small works of art are created in an edition of 10 pieces, whereby in the end each of the participating artists can call 5 their own.
in addition to the audio piece, the digital download also contains the graphic works in pdf format.

issue #10 was designed in collaboration with hal mcgee from gainesville/florida. i’ve participated in several of hal’s projects, and when i received a personal audio letter from him, it was clear that this had to be part of the edition gxggxxg. the theme of sending letters back and forth, sharing everyday life and ideas runs through the entire work.

edici​ó​n gxggxxg #03: lo siento, yo no he encontrado ningún mini cdr

edición gxggxxg es un proyecto de arte postal en el que se invita a los artistas a llenar de vida un sobre y un mini-cdr de forma colaborativa. todas las pequeñas obras de arte se crean en una edición de 10 piezas, por lo que al final cada uno de los artistas participantes puede llamar suyas a 5.

además de la pieza de audio, la descarga digital contiene también las obras gráficas en formato pdf.

rafael y yo buscabamos un mini cdr. encontramos sonidos, fotos y videos en otros medios, nuestros o de otros, de modo que hay una mezcolanza de diferentes hallazgos en el sobre. en papel, en una tarjeta de visita usb-stick y un anti-mini-cdr, que puede ser reproducido en un tocadiscos bajo su propio riesgo. lo siento.
